Excellent book with DVD; explains in a step by step manner the process of drawing with AutoCad; defines commands and indicates how to use them.
I will purchase from here again. I purchesed a couple of books and they were delivered faster then expected. The book was in perfect condition and well protected for delivery.
I am glad I bought the book and would recommend it to all novice CAD users. Not being CAD trained, I needed a book to provide me with enough useful informaiton to use the basic functions of AutoCAD. This book is written in such detail as to provide me the basics and a great deal of additional informaiton that will continue to help me.
I am now purchasing "harnessing AutoCad 2009" after seeing someone else's copy. This book is not that well laid out. There are steps to follow to produce a drawing but you never really get an idea of why you are following the steps given.
This thick book is easy to learn AutoCad 2009 and AutoCad 2009 LT as well. While reading Ellen Finkelstein's book, I corrected all of incomplete or unfinished drawings. This book teaches not only AutoCad but also makes my English comprehension quicker.
It came with the DVD that contains the Adobe Digital Reader. With all my heart, I highly recommend Ellen Finkelstein's book, "AutoCad 2009 and AutoCad LT 2009 Bible"($31). I want to draw using Ellen Finkelstein' bood AutoCad 2009 and AutoCad LT 2009, Bible. Last year in school, I sutided "Applying AutoCad 2005"($65) but dissapointed a lot. In order to make myself ready for applying a computer aided drafting job, I badly needed a good book to study. All questions solved. Adobe Digital Reader reads pages for me.
I trully give my thanks to the author Ellen Finkelstein. You know what I want to do tomorrow. While studying Ellen Finkelstein's book, I gained strong confidence that I have already applied for the internship in the field of Architecture. Every sentence at prompt is explained. I enjoy listening explanations but at STEPS I turn off Reader and start drawing following line by line instructions. For two days, I have read 120 pages (6 chapters). This is why so far no questions whatsoever I have raised. I purchased "AutoCad 2009 and AutoCad LT 2009 Bible"($31) by Ellen Finkelstein.
This book is written very well. How confident I am now. How good is this book. While studying AutoCad with "Applying AutoCad 2005", I left many drawings incomplete. I was able to successfully draw all drawings without a single failure.
